Every February we seek to center the voices of young people who have faced dating violence and educate our communities about healthy relationships. At Day One, we partner with young people to end dating abuse and domestic violence through preventive education, supportive services, legal advocacy, and leadership development.

One in three teens in the U.S. will experience physical, sexual, or emotional abuse by someone they are in a relationship with before they become adults. And nearly half (43%) of college women report experiencing violent and abusive dating behaviors. By joining together every February, we can spread awareness and stop dating abuse before it starts.

We know that everyone has the ability to end dating violence through education and practicing healthy relationship skills. That’s why for February we want to highlight unhealthy relationship behaviors and uplift healthy relationship behaviors. Join us on our social media channels as we explore why healthy love is on the horizon.
