Pregnant and Parenting Teen Initiative
Day One’s Pregnant and Parenting Teen Initiative (PPTi) is tasked to reach young folks who find themselves pregnant and/or expecting and wanting to parent. The initiative works to shift Day One’s Core 3 Curriculum and social services to serve this demographic. In 2018, Day One launched the Pregnant and Parenting Teen Initiative with the goals of increasing workshop outreach and delivery specifically to pregnant and parenting teens and increasing staff knowledge of challenges and resources related to young parents.
