Job Summary
Day One seeks a licensed master social worker to join our RAPP Team as a full time Relationship Abuse Prevention Program (RAPP) Coordinator. The position will be based at a NYC high school.
The RAPP Coordinator will provide the following teen dating violence prevention and intervention services at their high school:

Trauma informed individual and group counseling

Preventive and informative workshops on teen dating abuse and relationship wellness

A peer leadership program

Professional development for teachers and school staff

Community outreach to youth, caregivers, and community members
As a full time employee of Day One, the RAPP Coordinator will be assigned to a New York City high school where they will provide direct services to students Monday-Thursday. On Fridays, RAPP Coordinators work out of the Day One office in lower Manhattan for supervision and team meetings.
Responsibilities of the RAPP Coordinator include but are not limited to the following:

Develop and deliver classroom workshops on healthy relationships, dating abuse, consent and coercion, and other relevant topics.

Develop and deliver training for caregivers, community members, and school-based professionals.

Deliver trauma-informed and anti-oppressive counseling to individuals and groups affected by dating violence.

Collaboratively coordinate and facilitate the Summer Peer Leadership Institute, a 7-week intensive training program for high school youth to learn leadership and advocacy skills.

Coordinate outreach, scheduling, and partnership with community-based organizations

Participate in clinical supervision

Work with Day One staff to determine program direction and expansion, including participating in strategic planning and program evaluation activities

Required Qualifications

Salary and Benefits
The starting salary range for the position of RAPP coordinator at Day One is $56,000. Job Summary
Day One’s Associate Director of Training & Community Programs oversees training & prevention efforts at Day One, supervising a team that includes educators, program coordinators, consultants, interns, and volunteers. Externally, they work closely with community partners, building and maintaining strategic relationships to support the delivery of high-quality awareness and prevention programming to work toward Day One’s mission of ending intimate partner and sexual violence. The AD of Training & Community Programs liaises across multiple programs as well as between programs and communications/ development.
The Associate Director of Training & Community Programs works in a dynamic and collaborative environment and is responsible for both their own department and organization-wide thinking. Duties and Responsibilities:
Training and Community Program Responsibilities

Supervise the activities of education and youth leadership development staff in providing high quality and consistent workshops and trainings to youth and adults around the issues of healthy relationship development, intimate partner violence, and sexual assault among youth. Programs include city-wide education in middle and high schools, empowerment and leadership activities, awareness projects, and adult/professional trainings.

Facilitate trainings to professionals city-wide, including social workers, teachers, medical providers, law enforcement, lawyers, and ACS personnel, among others, using Day One’s existing training curricula.

Deliver webinars or other virtual trainings

Lead and oversee the development of all new youth curricula and training materials, including development of new content areas, train-the-trainer guides, participant materials and evaluation materials

Ensure that all services delivered comply with grant and contract requirements

Manage contract and fee-for-service income processes for relevant workshops and trainings

Coordinate with other managers to develop and maintain relationships with city agencies, community partners, and schools where staff provide services

Manage department’s budget and participate in annual budget-building process

Support implementation of Day One’s strategic plan through working group participation, including facilitation responsibilities as necessary, related but not limited to youth engagement and leadership development program areas.

Job Summary
Day One seeks an energetic and creative social worker with an interest in program management to serve as Day One’s Associate Director of School-Based Services. The Associate Director of School-Based Services must have an LCSW in the state of New York.
The principal duties of the Associate Director of School-Based Services include clinical and administrative supervision; program design and implementation; and evaluation of the RAPP program. The Associate Director will oversee the work of eight social workers (RAPP Coordinators) working onsite in NYC public high schools. In addition to fulfilling responsibilities related to program management and clinical supervision, the selected candidate will assist in development of materials and outreach strategy for the Relationship Abuse Prevention Program (RAPP) and assist with other Day One projects as assigned.

Job Summary
Day One seeks a full-time Community Educator to join our Training Department. The Community Educator will deliver preventive and informative workshops on teen dating abuse in schools and youth-serving spaces to young people between the ages 11-24, school-based staff, youth-serving professionals, and parents/caregivers.
The Community Educator will deliver Day One’s teen dating abuse prevention curriculum throughout NYC, conduct outreach, participate in awareness-building events and activities, and link young people to resources.

Job Summary
Day One seeks a full-time Early RAPP Educator to join our Training Department. The Early RAPP Educator will deliver workshops in NYC middle schools on teen dating violence to students, school based-staff, youth-serving professionals, and parents/caregivers. In addition to the delivery of Day One’s teen dating violence prevention curriculum, The Early RAPP Educator will conduct outreach, participate in awareness building events and activities, and link young people and families already experiencing such violence to direct assistance
The Early RAPP Educator will be assigned 8 middle schools. Early RAPP Educators coordinate their schedules with their assigned schools to offer recurring workshops and consult as needed with school staff, students, and families. Workshops are delivered in-person at the schools.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Build and manage relationships with Early RAPP schools
- Teach a healthy relationships curriculum addressing dating abuse, gender, relationship stereotypes, sexual assault, consent, and coercion to youth ages 10-13
